Beemer you're not getting in front of me..........

Yesterday I went to the land of the Wizard of Oz, compliments of the IMAX theater and 3D technology. Yep, I spent the $11 for a ticket to see it on the big screen! I figured it was a once in a lifetime thing! I will be 52 next month and have never seen it anywhere but on tv. OMG, the colors, the details I never noticed before! I LOVED IT!! And, I was  good girl. I'm a diabetic, I shouldn't be drinking soda, but I figure the theater is the only place I drink soda, so why not. I had a small cherry coke. Yep a small, and it lasted me the entire movie. I could have chosen water, but ya know, sometimes you need a cherry coke! My need is at the movies!

The theater is located in a town that is about 30 minutes from me. We have a local theater, but it doesn't have IMAX and it's old and in tremendous need of a upgrade. So I drove down there on I-95, and of course drove back the same way.

As I'm driving north, in the middle lane there are warnings that the left lane is ending and to merge. Those warnings come a mile in advance. I'm doing about 75, which is normal in this area, jamming along to the music on the radio. As I'm getting closer to the area where that lane ends I notice in my drivers side mirror there are 3 cars in that left lane. The ending is coming close and none of them appear to be speeding up. Finally the front car speeds up just as the lane is coming to an end and pops in front of me. We are within maybe 50 feet of the lane ending and the other 2 cars are still to the side of me. What the hell are they waiting for?? There isn't a car behind me, they could have gotten over at anytime. But no, they want to play "let's get in front of that car".  Ummmm, nope, not on your life you frickin idiots!! So once the first car speeds up and hops in front of me I step on the gas as hard as I can and both of those cars are made to go behind me, because their lane HAD ENDED! That's how close they thought they were to getting in front of me.  Not gonna happen. Follow the frickin signs and get over before your lane ends you moron!!

So what should I have done, slammed on my brakes so they could get in front of me. No, not gonna happen! I'm doing the right thing, by keeping in my lane, staying at a good pace in MPH and not doing anything to harm myself or anyone else. They are the dangerous drivers, those that don't heed the signs and think they can buck the system or speed limit and put others lives in danger by changing lane by lane. Ok, off my high horse.
